I am keenly interested in Conservation Biology. I strive to use innovative tools and explore diverse disciplines to more fully understand how humans impact wildlife.
I am currently examining the effect of anthropogenic disturbance on bats roosting in human-made structures, such as bridges. In my dissertation research, I study Conservation Physiology, assessing stress endocrinology, reproductive biology and immunology to tell a more complete story of how this roost choice influences health in the Brazilian free-tailed bat (Tadarida braziliensis).
